“I had looked in the mirror during the summer, and thought “thats it, thats what I am going to be like for the rest of my life”! I was fairly disgusted that I had got into this terrible state of 3 stone over-weight and size 18, and could see no way I would ever get into lovely stylish clothes again.
As an overweight, fast approaching middle-age, gym-phobic, snack loving, alcohol adoring woman, I scoffed when Tom assured me, that if I followed his schedule and eating plan I would lose 2 stone and 2 dress sizes in 3 months!
And here I am 4 dresses down at size 10, and 3.5 stone lighter! I never would have believed that I would be writing that! Its not been particularly difficult. In fact I have quite enjoyed it and still regularly go to the gym, and stick to the eating plan.
Its not a quick fix, its a way of life. Once I discovered and understood why I snacked, drank and ate the way I do, it was easy after that. Its not a torturous diet with sins and calorie counting, its just a good old fashioned understanding of food together with a bit of exercise thrown in. These days, I have so much more energy, am up at 6am rather than the 9am of the old days, I can wear clothes I want to wear, rather than clothes that just fit, I feel more attractive, I am happier and I have a new lease of life.
You’ve heard it a million times before “if I can do it, anyone can”, but in this case, its true. I truely never thought I could do it, but never to turn down a challenge, even a seemingly impossible one, I am there, at my target, and I have bloody done it!……and now, so can you!”

“18 months ago, with rather too much middle age spread, I decided something had to be done. I thought that maybe a couple of sessions with a personal trainer, in order to get a few pointers, would be a good idea. Fortunately I was put in contact with Tom Bies.
I was impressed by Tom’s considered approach and decided to arrange more sessions. Not only did Tom help me to quickly reach my initial goals of losing weight and becoming more toned, he also helped me to resolve weaknesses left by two injuries to my knee and shoulder.
Tom clearly takes his work seriously and is totally focussed during workouts. Importantly his methods work, as does his advice on nutrition. Since achieving my initial goals I have continued to work with Tom and have reached a level of fitness that exceeds all my original expectations and as a bonus have received many compliments on my appearance!
Thanks to Tom exercise has now become an enjoyable and essential part of my life rather than something to be endured. I now have much more energy to deal with the demands of work and to get the most out of life. Tom’s dedication and commitment are impressive and I have no hesitation in recommending him and have done so to a number of friends.”

As a design director of my own creative agency I lead a very hectic demanding schedule and often suffer extremely high levels of stress, working round the clock in a deadline critical business, often coordinating teams of people on complex projects. You can imagine how this affects my well-being and sadly my family life too.
I have great relationships in the line of work however those relationships with my employees and clients were in danger as slowly but surely work was getting on top of me. So, I thought: enough is enough!
I have started a coaching programme with Tom after seeing living proof of his genius in Moormag, a local magazine. This is the best choice I have made in years!
At the beginning I thought: ‘work-life balance’? Are you for real? Such a thing doesn’t exist!
However Tom’s reassurance was just what I needed.
Tom has, and continues to enable me to achieve a new life balance that gives me greater energy, enthusiasm and drive. By nature, I am extremely competitive and always try to give 100 percent to what I do, though Tom has pushed my pre-conceived boundaries so much so that I’m actually amazed – I honestly didn’t know I had it in me.
